Chocolate Festival in Burlington, Wisconsin
The
City of Burlington uses CTI Model 60 Drive-In Forks (shown with an extra
rod holder set installed) on a Case 580K backhoe. Here, they are using
the forks to set up of the annual Chocolate City Festival, placing booths
and unloading trucks around the festival site. The booths were specially
designed to be handled by the loader with CTI Forks. Other jobs for the
forks include unloading and handling pallets of tar, sod, paint, brick,
concrete blocks, fencing and other yard items.
Dick Pieters, Street and Park Superintendent for the City of Burlington,
said he and his crew were very pleased with the forks. Some of their comments:
"Cyclone fencing can be unloaded and moved more easily."
"Paint can be brought in on pallets this year."
"When you're working alone you have to be inventive, and the forks are
really helpful."
"Because the forks work well, we're able to do a lot more jobs, more
safely, than we could before."
